WORKING SAFELY DURING CORONAVIRUS
The COVID-19 Guidance for businesses to return to work has now been published. If your operation has a cross over into the different sector guidance (i.e. Transport with an operational warehouse), you should use a combination of the below guidelines to make sure that you have taken all measures (as long as is reasonably practicable) to ensure the health and safety of your staff.
As you will notice from the below guidelines, a documented Risk Assessment has to be carried out for all businesses who employ 5 or more people in order to identify the risks relating to COVID-19 along with the control measures required. The Risk Assessment should be carried out for each of your business premises and work settings BEFORE staff can return.
We have already started assisting many of our clients with creating business-specific COVID-19 risk assessments along with control measures and safe working practices that ensure the health and safety of the staff. Our consultants are available for site visits where required (to those who have returned to work). We can support you in any plans for a staged or staggered return to work while taking care of your site specific requirements.
